Kike Ega is the pseudonym used by the musical composer Enrique García. In addition to composing, he produces his own compositions and as an instrumentalist he plays the Guitar, the Piano and the Low Whistle.
Born in Madrid (Spain), from a young age he showed a great interest in music, an interest that increased when at the age of 11 his father gave him his first guitar. Since then this instrument has always accompanied him. His interest in instrumental music led him to learn to play the Piano and Low Whistle in a self-taught way.
From an early age he has liked to compose music but it was not until 2012 when after more than 15 years of compositional absence he decides to take it up again and publish his first album called "Spaces". It is an album of chillout / New age instrumental music that was a great personal satisfaction for the author. Later in 2016 he published his 2nd album called "New Day", an album of instrumental Rock music where electric guitars are the protagonists. These two albums released under the pseudonym "Ega" are a reflection of the author's musical tastes, instrumental music and Rock music. They represent an initiation in production and above all an incentive to continue advancing.
From that moment on, he decides to start a new musical project under the name of "Kike Ega". It is here where he is trained in Mixing and Mastering as well as other disciplines and sets himself the goal of achieving his own sound.
This new project sees the light in 2022 with the release of the album "The Secret". It is instrumental music characterized by powerful percussions and classical orchestral instrumentation. He frequently uses Cello, Violin, Soprano Saxophone, Oboe and Piano as solo instruments, accompanied by ensembles of Strings, Pads, Choirs and Basses among other instruments. The Singles "Silence", "In my Soul" and "Adagio for Saxophone" are very significant of this new musical proposal.
In 2023 he published the album "The Secret 2" (following the same musical proposal as the previous album).
And also in 2023 he published the album "Orchestral Dreams", this time it is an album of contemporary classical music.

My project
I compose and produce contemporary instrumental music, mainly addressing the orchestral and Chillout genres with my own style that sets it apart from other musical approaches.
In the Chillout genre I wanted to find my own sound: powerful percussions rather typical of urban sound with melodies and harmonies performed with usual instruments of orchestral music such as Cello, Violin, Soprano Saxophone, Piano, Oboe, Flute, etc... accompanied by Choirs of voices, Pads, Synthesized Basses, Hammered dulcimer, Music Boxes, Typewriters, Xylophones and many other instruments.
