Kike Ega, pseudonym of composer Enrique García Arias (born in Madrid, Spain), has been nominated at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards with his composition "Enigma of Time" in the Contemporary Classical music category.

On July 18, 2024, the winner will be announced at the ceremony to be held at The Avalon Theater in Hollywood (Los Angeles).

The Hollywood Independent Music Awards are the world's leading platform for independent music. Emerging and established artists, songwriters and audio recording professionals from around the world are recognized for their outstanding contributions and content creation.

Kike Ega has stated on his social networks that this nomination has been a surprise because it is the first time he has composed classical music. Furthermore, the nominated song was the first composition of this genre that he made.

"Enigma of Time" is part of their latest album “Orchestral Dreams” , an album with 15 songs of Contemporary Classical music available on all digital platforms.

This is not the first time that Kike Ega has received international recognition for his work. In 2022 they awarded their previous album “The Secret” and specifically the song “Salve Regina” with different awards for the best song “New Age”. Among these recognitions are a nomination at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in Hollywood (California), a Gold Medal at the LIT Talent Awards in New York, and a Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards in San Diego (California).

Kike has always had musical interests. He plays various instruments such as guitar, piano and Low Whistle, and composes, records, mixes and masters all his compositions.

In 2012 he began to publish his first works under the pseudonym “EGA” (which are the initials of his name and surname). With great personal satisfaction he was able to verify that a good part of his works were licensed in audiovisual synchronization projects (especially advertising).

“The Secret” and “The Secret 2” are the first albums of his current musical project as “Kike Ega” and offer an approach close to New Age/Chill Out music but with its own sound characterized by powerful percussion accompanied by melodies and harmonies performed with common instruments of orchestral music. In his third album “Orchestral Dreams” he delves completely into the   Contemporary Classical music.

Kike is always working on something new and likes to experiment with new musical concepts and ideas. For this reason, after having delved into Classical, New Age, Chill Out and Pop Rock music among other musical genres, he is currently preparing his next musical project, which will be a Classical Guitar album. This new project will see the light of day in the coming months.
